Jim Worthington, Newtown Athletic Club owner, real estate developer and philanthropist, was selected by the Pennsylvania State GOP to be the chair of the Pennsylvania Delegation to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from July 15-18.
Worthington was a delegate to the Republican National Convention representing Bucks County in 2016 and 2020, making this his third general election serving as a delegate. As the chair of the Delegation, he is integral in organizing events and raising funds to support the state GOP organization. He has also been communicating with all the delegates to facilitate their understanding of their responsibilities, as well as creating opportunities for them to support the Republican Party in its work for the upcoming election and after.
This position is an honor that Worthington said he does not take lightly. He’s grateful to those who selected him.
“It is my belief that as delegates, we are obligated to be leaders in our communities for effective activism and voter engagement,” he said. “There is nothing more important than the involvement and education of the individual voter as they navigate their privilege and right as a citizen to vote.”
